Q) How does your business complement the HPSP?
A) Feet and lower limb health is extremely important in all aspects of life and most sporting pursuits. If your feet are painful or not working optimally it affects your ability to run, jump and even stop correctly. Your Podiatrist aims to assist all our patients stay injury free and perform at their highest level, whether you are a 16 year old elite runner or an 80 year old lawn bowler.
Q) What does it mean to you to support students wishing to pursue a career in sport?
A) Your Podiatrist supports many local sports teams at various levels throughout the region and many of our Podiatrists and staff are involved in regular weekend sport. Some of our Podiatrists have been involved in elite sport and know the sacrifices and hard work it takes to pursue these dreams. Sponsoring the HPSP, or helping athletes with their foot problems, we at Your Podiatrist are proud to play a role in helping our local students achieve their sporting dream.
Q) What are the reasons you support HPSP?
A) At Your Podiatrist we value students aiming to achieve their their highest potential. Being involved in a program to further develop young athletes to compete at their best. Potentially students could make a career out of sports. We see our support of this program as a worthwhile activity. Living in a regional area means we often have to move away or travel for further study or training for careers. It is satisfying to be involved in a program to facilitate more specialist training and coaching locally to keep our rising stars in their home town as much as possible.
